San Francisco may not be known as the most fashionable city in the world (whatevs!), but at least we can now boast that we have a European collection dedicated to our beloved hills. How so, you ask? Well, German fashion house Strenesse Blue has created its fall ’12 collection with the distinct streets and vibe of S.F. in mind.
Inspired by Jack Kerouac’s Bay Area adventures from the iconic On The Road (plus with nods to Los Angeles and Aspen), Strenesse Blue stitched together eye-catching numbers made of rich '70s-tastic masala reds and burnt oranges, subtle flower-power prints, and chic plaids made from silk and wool, all of which showcase remarkable tailoring fit for an haute S.F. hippie or beatnik.
Wanna see what we mean? Click through some of the strongest pieces from the collection, inspired by S.F.'s hills, and if you need what you see (hello color-block oxford pumps!), note that many of the pieces will be yours for the taking at South Bay boutique Crimson Mim this fall. Mark your calendars.
