This Instagrammer Will Make You Want To DIY Everything

Halloween is a prime DIY holiday. Every year, the bar is set higher for truly original, brainy costumes. You either commit to an idea, or simply dig out a costume from your closet. But, take a look through Kelly Lanza's Instagram, and you'll be inspired to grab a glue gun, and finally take your DIY projects from tentative Pinterest boards to real-life creations.
Lanza is more than an expert crafter. She runs Studio DIY, a website that encourages readers not just to make their own fruit costumes or cheeky donut kitchen stools (there's certainly some of that— and more), but also to live creatively. She asks the hard questions, like: Why limit emojis to your phone keyboard? Or, how can we have watermelon year-round? This creative endeavor has been so successful, that Lanza's project has grown out of the digital space and into a physical office space: At Studio DIY HQ, she crafts, teaches workshops, and 'grams her projects for us to gawk at.
Her Instagram feed gives us a peek into Kelly's very colorful life and aside from the fruit of her crafty labor, she shares bits and pieces of her life that are as lovely as her DIYs. (She's currently planning her wedding, which we're sure will bear plenty of shareable details.) Ahead, look into Kelly's world. This isn't Pinterest, this is real life.
