Tarte and True Blood Collaborate On A Bloody Good Makeup Collection

If you're hungering for fresh blood—we mean True Blood, of course—then news of Tarte's new True Blood collaboration with HBO should sate your appetite for all things Sookie, Eric, Bill, and everything else Bon Temps-related until the Season Four premiere on June 26 (we know, waiting sucks!). And just like this season is expected to be bitingly good, so is Tarte's limited-edition three-piece collection. Developed with the show's makeup department head, Brigette Myre-Ellis, (Tarte is one of the brands she uses on set), the sheer, sparkling crimson cheek stain adds a shimmery flush, and the LipSurgence serves up a just-bitten look. The palette's badass, Fangtasia-inspired packaging would make Pam proud, but housed inside are 17 matte and shimmery eyeshadows that are all utterly wearable—for both daylight hours and venturing into the night.
