After we featured these gorgeous $149 Club Monaco earrings, I made a beeline for our local shop to try 'em out for size. Unfortunately, they were nowhere to be found (and I was hesitant to drop that much money on an accessory I've never seen in person), so I decided to flex my crafting muscles and give 'em a DIY whirl.
I stopped by Target and picked up some vintage-inspired earrings for $7 on clearance and some premade, home-decor tassels (you can find at any fabric or trimmings store). I clipped off the loop at the top of the tassel and added a little glue — and voilà! Easiest DIY, ever. As a testament to its awesomeness, three of my coworkers may have put in requests and, yes, we now all have matching sets, made by hand. Tassel revolution!
