This Lookbook Is Your Reward For Not Quitting This Winter

Here in New York, the sun only broke through the clouds last week — which means we've been deprived of our favorite warm-weather activities for a truly tragic eight months now. That's over half a year with no park naps, no bare legs, no rooftop sun-basking, and, perhaps most tragically, no vanilla Mr. Softee with rainbow sprinkles. But, this is the week that all that changes — and we're letting this lookbook by The Loved One be our ultimate spring inspiration.

Photographed by Emily Alben, the lookbook stars Ashley Symone Lee, whom TLO owner Hannah Metz calls "our beloved shop girl," and Erin Cherry, "a muse and customer." The ladies frolic in sunny parks, indulge in ice-cream cones and diner hangs, and generally have the kind of idyllic, vintage-y, vaguely Twin Peaks-esque existence that we secretly suspect people in L.A. have year-round, while we East Coasters are shivering under piles of shearling.
