This Is How Theory Does Gymwear

Theory has always been known as the working woman's brand, and it recently launched a version of workout clothes that will take you from the boardroom to the gym. The new collection, Theory+ (which the brand has dubbed its “dynamic-wear” line), still exemplifies that modern and utilitarian aesthetic. But, these beauties are designed for functional movement rather than functional, you know, desk-sitting. The pieces use a breathable fabric (nylon/spandex blend or merino wool) to facilitate comfortable, active use.
This isn't the brand's first line of workout clothes; it launched Theory38 last year, complete with lots of mesh and cameo pieces. But, with this collection, expect plenty of essentials (leggings, a racerback sports bra) to anchor the line alongside upgraded basics — such as a knitted crew tee with lightweight compression and strategic seamlessness to reduce chafing. Theory+ also offers its take on street-to-studio wear, adding in layering pieces (jackets and pullovers) with an elegant-but-still-slightly-sporty vibe. We love the line's twist on the basic crew sweatshirt; it's made with a super-soft fabric and features cool, futuristic-looking gold piping that's perfect for post-gym brunch. And, because we're all constantly on the go, Theory+ is giving out a complimentary portable charger along with every purchase.
