Theyskens’ Theory Spring ’13 Collection Is Surprisingly Wearable

Olivier Theyskens' spring '13 collection truly showcased the talent and beauty we have come to expect from the designer and his parent brand, Theory. Producing wearable pieces, Theyskens debuted a mostly monochrome collection, including beautifully tailored suiting in silky fabrics, which will undoubtedly have mass appeal. We were in awe of the sheer, skirt-and-blouse ensemble that looked beyond amazing coming down the runway; though, it would be hard to pull off on the streets (unless you're ready to receive a police citation for indecency).
Other than the cuts themselves, bold shoulders and sparkle-infused knits stole the show and added a bit of glamour to the masculine shapes — a Theyskens trademark we love.
