While Radiohead’s newest album King of Limbs received a somewhat lackluster reception, when played live the glitchy ruminations of songs like “Lotus Flower” gain new levels of stadium-sized power. Four Tet, an electronic music legend in his own right, will open - apropos, considering his recent dubstep-leaning collaborations with Thom Yorke and Burial. Did we mention this is Radiohead?!

With an appearance by reclusive Neutral Milk Hotel front man Jeff Mangum, a rare US performance by British trip-hop gods Portishead, and a slew of other great bands, this year’s ATP is one of the best lineups in the festival’s history. While only three day ticket holders will get to see mangum, each day serves up a not-to-be missed dose of the best bands in the world, all in one place. A truly special three day event.

Panda Bear (with Sonic Boom), Webster Hall, $25
Both as a member of Animal Collective, and as a solo artist Noah Lennox (aka Panda Bear) has arguably done more to define the sound of post-millennial music than any other dude to touch a sampler. When he plays Webster Hall he’ll be joined by Sonic Boom (aka Peter Kember, founding member of Spacemen 3), whose production on Tomboy moved Panda Bear from the sunny sounds of Person Pitch to darker, more internal melodies.
