Three Weeks Into 2011, Do We Already Have The Model Of The Year?

Only three weeks after ringing in the New Year, and we're ready to declare the Model of the Year award to tenacious baby-cum-model Lindsey Wixson. Ms. Wixson, who's a ripe 16 years of age, has the ambition of a bona fide model and has been tapped for a half dozen major spring campaigns, including, but not limited to Jill Stuart and Jill Stuart Beauty, Mulberry, Alexander McQueen, and Marc Jacobs... Did we mention a huge spread in January's W Magazine, that amazing Chanel video, and her appearance in the Opening Ceremony ad? And her winsome cherubic face? Ok ok... So we're partial! Only time will tell whether this babe has longevity of a Naomi or a Christy, but as a handpick of Steven Meisel for an Italian Vogue spread in 2009 as her breakout role, Lindsey seemingly has the talent, face, and that ever-elusive je ne sais quoi.
