Blind Item: This Emmy-Nominated Actor Turns Designer For A Cause

Men of the world, take note: One of our favorite tie makers The Tie Bar has announced a collaboration with one of our favorite actors, Modern Family's Jesse Tyler Ferguson, to raise awareness and support for marriage equality — talk about family ties. The Emmy nominated actor teamed up with partner Justin Mikita to present Tie The Knot (cute!), a charity that raises awareness for equal marriage rights.
Together, Tie The Knot and The Tie Bar have designed a collection of limited-edition bow ties that we can't wait to spot on guys in all five boroughs. What makes this sweet collab even more appealing? Proceeds from sales up to $200,000 will be donated to The Human Rights Campaign, the largest LGBT civil rights organization. Did we mention they're totally affordable? At just $25 a pop we're thinking of all the ways we can wear them ourselves — ponytail holders, anyone?
Click through for a few of our favorites from Tie The Knot and shop them all at The Tie Bar online. After all, if there's anything we love more than men dressing well, it's doing good work while shopping, and adorably-named charities, of course.
