Well, that was insanely fun! Tinseltown, R29's annual holiday pop-up bazaar, was in full swing over one all-too-brief weekend — so much so that we're still not over it. From December 13 to 14, we teamed up with the incomparable design mavens at e-zine Sight Unseen to curate up-and-coming brands and take over Openhouse, an event space in NYC's charming Nolita 'hood. And — dare we say? — Tinseltown truly outdid itself this year.
Not only did our brethren come out in droves to shop indie artists and fashion and home-decor designers such as Chiaozza, Bower, Fredericks & Mae, Dusen Dusen, and more, but they also stayed for the quirky cat and cat-lover finds at Fancy Feast's feline-minded boutique, the freebie accessories at Old Navy's scratch-off lottery stand, beautifying makeovers from European Wax Center, and elegant holiday 'dos from Fekkai.
