This Is Our Jam: Toro Y Moi, “Say That”

It may be surprising that in 2013, O.G. chill-waver Toro Y Moi is only getting better, but Chaz Bundick has made a habit of confounding expectations. With "Say That," Bundick has dropped his most overtly dance-oriented track to date (under his Toro Y Moi moniker, at least), combing clipped-vocal house, '80s funk, and his signature breathy croon. Amidst the mixture, there are also some perfectly placed sexy-back "yeah-ahhs" that help bring the whole thing together.
