We here at R29 love our ugly sweaters: Ironically, seriously, basically any way possible. But this year, when busting out our perennial favorites, we just weren't feeling it. They were missing just a little extra something. Now we know what that something was: an iPad, obviously.
We have to thank Digital Dudz founder Mark Rober for filling us in on all the digital possibilities. This DIY-on-crack is basically the best thing to happen to sweaters since battery-operated flashing lights.
With a sweater, some molding, spray paint, garnish, hot glue, wood, screws, duct tape, shoe laces, and one iPad, you officially have the most intense holiday sweater on the block — complete with a digital fireplace. If you’re brave enough to try this project and start channeling your inner Teletubbie, please, please be sure to send us your picture. We totally owe you one major high five. (Laughing Squid)
