Finally — Unbreakable Shades For Clumsy Girls

Respect to the Lazy Girls, shout-out to the Cozy Girls, but this writer considers herself part of a different tribe. Yes, I am a Clumsy Girl. This means that laces must be tied or immediately tripped over, and that "tensile strength" is about as high on my list of sunglasses needs as "face flattering." It also means that I was super-excited to hear about these new, literally unbreakable sunglasses.

Made by Italia Independent, these Wayfarer-style shades are made from rubber, float in water (never deep-sea dive for your glasses again!), and can be twisted, bent, and folded pretty severely without snapping.

The brand is sold at Bergdorf Goodman, Intermix, Barneys, Scoop and its own website. If you, like me, are a clumsy girl prone to sitting on your sunnies in the back of a cab, these might be the ones for you. Now, if only they could do something about my leaving my shades at the bar.
