Vans New Spring Lookbook Goes Arty With Cool Photo Collaboration

When it comes to making history, it's hard for the West-Coast-based Vans to one-up themselves. But in fact, they have by collaborating on their latest Vault spring 2011 lookbook with San Francisco-based artist-photographer Scott Barry. Between You and the Ground is a 30-page, limited-edition lookbook spotlighting Vans' latest Vault collection. Two custom pinwheels showcase the Dead Stock Canvas Project, a team-up with Ludwig Van Clothing, plus new styles from designer Taka Hayashi. Both meetings of the mind generated covetable works of wearable art that are collector—and closet—ready. The new seasons' styles are classic and familiar, but still fresh with plenty of Vans innovation to put...err...more spring in your step.
