Choosing the right sound track for your wedding can be an overwhelming process. Do you stick to Frank Sinatra and the classics, or do you spice it up with some Beyoncé and Maroon 5? There are a lot of songs out there for the picking, but here are 12 wedding-worthy tunes you should definitely add to your playlist.

1. "The Sleeping Beauty" by Tchaikovsky
This is the perfect song to play as your bridal party walks down the aisle. It's classic and beautiful, but it's also unexpected. Play this tune if you want to make your processional stand out from all the rest.

2. "Viva La Vida" by Coldplay
Maybe you'd like a more modern walk down the aisle. If a contemporary song is more your speed, this one will certainly get everyone's attention as you make your way to your soon-to-be spouse. Have a string quartet play the song's intro for a bold sound.

3. "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out" by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band
If you want to make an entrance your guests won't soon forget, then walk in to this hit from the Boss. If you have a band, ask them to play the intro over and over again until you and your beau make it to the dance floor for a show-stopping scene.

4. "Hold You In My Arms" by Ray LaMontagne
Looking for a romantic first-dance song? Then consider this sweet tune. Not only is it super danceable, but the lyrics will also resonate with all the feelings you're feeling: "I could hold you in my arms, I could hold you in my arms forever..."

5. "What A Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong
This song has father-daughter dance written all over it. The lyrics are sweet and sincere, and they capture the sentiments that every dad has for his little girl. Plus, it's a pretty slow song, which will come in handy if dear ol' dad has two left feet.

6. "Forever Young" by Bob Dylan
Calling all grooms: Lead your mother out to the dance floor during this number for a private moment. Swaying with the woman who gave birth to you to this sweet classic will win you "Son of the Year" for sure, and will help her cope with the fact that her baby boy is all grown up!

7. "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" by Whitney Houston
This is THE song to play when you want to get the party started. No one, and we mean no one, can sit still whenever Whitney comes on. Grab your partner or your BFF and just dance. And, don't get weirded out when your aunts and uncles do the same...it's gonna happen, so just accept it.

8. "Shake It Off" by Taylor Swift
When this song starts to play, grab your girls and hit the dance floor. It's a feel-good kind of tune that was made for letting loose with your besties because, well, TSwizzle just gets it. Even Grandma won't be able to sit this one out.

9. "How Sweet It Is" by James Taylor
Time to cut the cake? Let everyone know with a subtle hint by playing this song in the background. It's a soft tune that will help take things down a notch as you and your partner pose for photos with your cake masterpiece and carefully feed each other a bite of dessert.

10. "Livin' On A Prayer" by Bon Jovi
Does this song even need an explanation? This chart-topping crowd-pleaser will have everyone channeling their inner Bon Jovi — singing loudly, fist pumping proudly, and playing air guitar like a champ. It's certainly a fun song, and pretty much everyone on your guest list already has the lyrics memorized. Done and done.
