Last Night’s Looks: 15 Stunning Ensembles, 1 Epic Art Event

If there's one thing we've learned about a successful party, it's that, like a good cocktail, it takes the right mix of ingredients: festive guests, flattering lighting, the perfect venue, and, of course, great tunes. When it came time to get down at Skylight Studios for last night's annual Whitney Art Party — check! check! check! and check! The room buzzed with enough positive energy to keep the Belvedere flowing and the designer-clad attendees dancing well into the night.

MaxMara, the event's official fashion sponsor, was responsible for many of the night's best looks, spotted on actress Olivia Wilde, DJ Harley Viera Newton, DJ Hannah Bronfman, and curator Kyle DeWoody. But regardless of the label behind the 'fits, the auction-oriented bash turned out sophisticated evening looks in droves. From model Erin Wasson's boho ensemble to model Jourdan Dunn's Alexander Wang frock to casting director Natalie Joos' twirl-inducing maxi, these dance-ready outfits certainly caught our sartorial eye. That is, when we weren't whipping our own hair back-and-forth.
