Creepers, High-Tops, and Clogs: Whywho Makes New Zealand’s Coolest Shoes

A beach hangout may seem impossible right now, but New Zealand shoe label whywho's summer lovin' lookbook makes our sunshine fantasies come true anyway. Inspired by the carefree days of summer and the uprising youth of the '60s, this really is a shoe collection unlike anything we've seen in the states.
The sandy spring '12 lookbook features models hanging out on a deserted beach wearing a range of uniquely crafted T-strap sandals, modified creepers, and laced booties. We are in awe of Cate King and Sarah Busby's mix of natural colors with strawberry suede, as well as their playful-yet-comfy designs that are practical yet youthful. A pair of Runaway Clogs or Sifty Canvas High-Tops may not please every palette, but they definitely rock our socks. Produced on the other side of the world, but shipped international, we hope to see whywho take off in a big way.
