Playing with the boundaries of bootlegging, you could class him as a fraudulent liability. We, however, are classing him as a jersey print genie. You remember the inexpensive designer tee, don’t you? And then, conversely, there was the v-expensive Kanye West one, for a whimsical $90,300. Taking on an idea that no one has done before —or maybe just that no one has dared to do before — he's making one wonder where to draw the line. Some might take a picture of a painting (you’ve all seen the flashes on Friday afternoons at the MoMA), others chose to print it on the front of a T-shirt. Appreciating the art of a fine thing, no?

Take his latest matching his-and-hers offering. From afar, the printed tee looks black with a vaguely yellow checkered print. Nothing special right? But... stealing a closer look, it becomes more like one of those optical illusions, with tiny ’13 runway looks developing like magical little beings. Cute!
