With Cinco de Mayo way under our belts, we must admit we’ve been craving something with a little crunch, a sprinkle of cilantro, and a lot of zest. Luckily for us, there’s a new taco joint in town, and this one’s rolling with style.
If you’ve passed by Wood Tavern in Wynwood lately, you might have noticed a graffiti-laden, outdoor bar right next door. That, fine people, is Pancho Taco, a brand-spankin'-new joint owned by the same folks as Wood Tavern. The new hangout vows to serve inexpensive Mexican street food (Ay bendito!) and is currently whipping up this deliciousness during bar hours only (they'll hold more steady hours, seven days a week, starting in the very near future).

Oh, and we’ll give you loyal Refinery29-ers a little insight: If you can’t wait for their official grand opening on May 31, there’s a soft opening tonight, Friday, May 25, from 8 to 10 p.m. We strongly suggest wearing spandex and your favorite luchador mask. Because, if the tacos don’t satisfy your inkling for some Mexican flare, the full-size wrestling ring certainly will!
Pancho Taco, 2531 NW 2nd Avenue.
