Heads Up, Fashionable Foodies! Designer Aprons Are Finally Here

Getting all dressed up in winter whites and indulging in a killer meal is pretty much our idea of pure, holiday bliss. So, with our twin loves of fashion and food, you can imagine how excited we were to see e-commerce site Yoox's latest campaign. Yes, folks, it's time for designer aprons.
Yoox tapped eight Italian designers to create a collection of eye-catching aprons, and trust us when we say these aren't your traditional kitchen wear. From MSGM's digital-rose-covered smock and Moschino's cheeky "Sorry I'm Italian" print to Trussardi's sleek, graphic version, each fashion house brought its distinctive flavor (sorry, couldn't resist), usually reserved for the runway, to this kitchen-only cuteness.
All of the designs retail for $97, and proceeds go to the Slow Food Foundation for Biodiversity, a nonprofit that's dedicated to preserving ecologically sustainable agriculture. Click through to shop them all. Sure, an apron may not typically be part of our holiday look, but we can't think of a better reason to get a little down and dirty in the kitchen. Well, that, and we make the world's best mashed potatoes.
