Kenzo Can Make Even Industrial Carpeting Look Glamorous

Ever since Humberto Leon and Carol Lim came to Kenzo as creative directors, the old-school label has been given a new-school kick in the rear. While staying true to Kenzo's tradition of graphic prints, punchy separates, and tongue-in-cheek references, the OC team took what they learned helming one of the hippest stores in the world to the heritage brand. With splashy logos, unexpected fabrics (yep, that's industrial carpeting you're seeing), and kitschy shapes (you know you recognize that boxy skirt suit from Opening Ceremony's racks), Kenzo's fall '12 collection is their most covetable to date. No longer just a rad label you look for in vintage shops, Kenzo is blazing forward as this generation's cool-kid label.
