It feels good to be bad. And now, it looks good to be bad—New York Times' Touch Of Evil' shorts features some of our fave cinematic heavy-hitters indulging in this dark truth, including Brad Pitt, Rooney Mara, Mia Wasikowska, and Ryan Gosling (and Glenn Close, and Jessica Chastain, and Kirsten Dunst, and George Clooney...you get it). In gripping clips that marry film and fear, the actors portray various phobias from bugs, to fire, to insanity. They're totally convincing, beautifully made, and, of course, bone chilling. Mia is amazing as an axe-wielding narcissist, Jessica laughs among the fire, and (boo!) RyGos' character disappears after coming to life from a painting. Oh, and did we mention they emote the epic villainy without ever saying a word? (New York Times)
