And they said she'd never last...
Despite being blasted as being too curvy and commercial-looking for high fashion, a certain blonde beauty has managed to prove the critics wrong by landing yet another Vogue cover.

After gracing Vogue Italia's Seductive Issue and starring in shoots for the American edition as well, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model
Kate Upton
is continuing her hot streak on the January 2013 cover of our very own British Vogue, with editor-in-chief Alexandra Shulman labelling the voluptuous American beauty, saying she's "not a stereotypical fashion model — although, let's face it, she's hardly a heffalump!"

Righto, darling. Filling out a white knit dress for her surprisingly angelic-looking cover (shot by photographer Alasdair McLellan), the 20-year-old
swimsuit model
is praised by fashion features director Sarah Harris for her "outsize bosoms" and "slender legs."

"In the flesh, this all-American beauty resembles a young Anna Nicole Smith or Marilyn Monroe," Harris writes. "Her face is very pretty and perfectly symmetrical (with the exception of that mole, so exquisitely placed to the right, it looks like it might have been drawn on by the modelling gods). She also has the ability, with the slightest of expressions, to flit with ease between girlishly wholesome and full-on sex. All things considered, it's a knockout formula."
Consider us down for the count.
