It is safe to say that the world and its dog are on royal baby watch. It’s almost as if the entire city is waiting with bated breath for the happy arrival. The Grosvenor House Hotel has seized upon this new global obsession and has created a suite fit for a royal prince or princess. Seriously.
The hotel has teamed up with London’s most exclusive nursery designers, Dragons of Walton Street, to reinvent one of their Premium Park View Suites into “Suite Dreams,” a suite with the most tricked-out nursery one has ever seen outside of a royal palace. Think a cot the size of a mini cooper and a dollhouse in the style of the hotel, which took five days to paint.
With that sort of attention to detail it goes without saying that this experience comes with an eye-watering price tag. £2,230 per night to be precise. But, if you’ve been sleep-starved by your little darling for long enough, then maybe it’s a price worth paying? The hotel does throw in a free childcare evening in the package, after all.
