Kenzo’s Most Recent Collab Is With Toilet Paper…Really

No, we’re not talking about the latest in designer bathroom accessories (though tiger-printed toilet-paper rolls do sound like the perfect hostess gift…). For its autumn ’13 campaign, Kenzo has given Alice from Wonderland a run for her money in its collaboration with Toilet Paper magazine.
Founded in 2010 by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari, Toilet Paper is an art-based magazine known for its quirky, baffling, and sometimes unsettling images. And, for its first fashion campaign collaboration, we’re thrilled to see Toilet Paper chose a line with an equally eccentric style POV. The collab features miniature versions of Japanese actress Rinko Kikuchi and model Sean O'Pry dressed in Kenzo as they piggyback a pair of giant-sized female hands and lay helpless on a dissecting tray amongst a bunch of insects.
Other photos from the collection see the newest designs styled on a feline friend, and sported on a (seriously eerie) pair of "feet." The results are perplexing, amusing, and straight-up rad. As a matter of fact, we’re so into this combination of high-end fashion and art, we’re contemplating framing them right on our office walls (or, more appropriately, in the bathrooms). Click ahead to see them all.
