We're not trying to kill your Bloody Mary buzz, but cancel your brunch plans — and not because we want you to drink green juice instead. This Sunday, July 28, it's time for the Vital Bridges Chefs and the City Summer Tasting and Croquet Party. Trust us, with over 15 participating restaurants, you're going to want to walk in with an empty stomach.
Start at 12:30 p.m. by getting your drink on with a refreshing vodka cocktail or two in the charming gardens at Galleria Marchetti. You've got up until 5 p.m. to leisurely roam around (and digest!) bites from some of the best restaurants in the city, including The Publican, BellyQ, Kabocha, Frog N Snail, Tavernita, and Merlin Verrier. And just in case you're interested in trying to burn off any of the calories you consumed — while channeling an old-school garden party — grab a mallet and play a round or two of croquet. Or, you could just go back for another round of eating. We know what we're choosing.
