The weather was intense, the music was bangin', and the style? Totally inspiring.
While floral headdresses have become de rigeur festival wear, the crowd at this weekend's Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago looked to other trends to express themselves. Headbands were few, but dip-dyed locks were in full force, as were braids and the odd scrunchie. Crop tops and bralets were the event's most popular pieces, whether paired with printed palazzo pants or a simple mini. As for accessories? Easy. Printed caps and wide-brimmed hats ruled, while a pair of statement shades seemed as crucial an accessory as an all-access pass.
