In theory, we love the idea of hosting an elaborate dinner party. One complete with well-appointed place settings, amazing wine, delicious food, great convo, the works. But in reality, a busy lady like yourself doesn't always have the time to hit the grocery store and stuff Cornish hens — no matter how much you love your peeps. So, instead of throwing in the kitchen towel on a feast among friends, make a reservation at Tesori instead.
Don't worry — this isn't just any old dinner reservation. The bustling Loop restaurant highlights one specific ingredient (the focal point of the meal) for a menu served dinner-party style for groups of 10 or more. The theme for the month of August is tomatoes, so you can get a serious lycopene infusion with dishes like fried green cherry tomatoes, ravioli with tomato confit, and grilled halibut in a tomato water broth.
The cost is $65 per person (an additional $20 for wine pairings) for a a six-course feast. The best part? You won't be left with any dishes to do — cheers!
Tesori, 65 East Adams Street (between Wabash Avenue and Dearborn Street); 312-786-9911.
