King Tuff, The Men, and Twin Peaks
Eager to get lost in the riffs of some good ol’ garage-band tunes? King Tuff undeniably wears the crown in this genre’s department so let ’em serenade you with its jams that are sure to rule your world, or at least, just your night. The band is front-lining the show, and the opening acts will be Brooklyn punk band The Men, along with Twin Peaks. King Tuff is also playing at Outside Lands, but we think it’s much cooler to get an up-close-and-personal view in a smaller venue.

Best Coast and Bleached
Our love for the indie duo act Best Coast isn’t just because we agree wholeheartedly with its name. Upbeat songs like "Boyfriend," "Crazy For You," and "Up All Night" have us dancing at home with a hairbrush mic, and now we can listen to the group in a less-embarrassing setting. Bleached will also be there to give us a reason to bop and up down. Really, who doesn’t need to let loose on a Thursday in the middle of the month? See you there!

Icona Pop with K.Flay and Sirah
There’s no question that Icona Pop’s "I Love It" is the number one summer smash that we’re always down to press play for. Now, we can go wild to the all-attitude anthem in the flesh, thanks to the group headlining at The Fillmore at the end of the month. Local songstress K.Flay will also be there crooning away, along with Sirah.

Mac Miller and Action Bronson
Mac Miller is coming to town to drop his rythmatic beats on stage at The Warfield while belting out his melodic raps. Get lost in the no-holds-barred lyrics, and sway to the jams’ thumps and bumps in a sea of other Mac lovers. And, no good artist goes down solo: Action Bronson will also be there bringing, well, the action.

Cee Lo Green with Big Gipp, Khujo, and T-Mo
Before Cee Lo Green goes back to his judging duties on The Voice, we can see him doing his thing on the stage. And, although Outside Landers will catch him earlier in the month, we get to experience him sans flower crowns at his Fillmore gig, after catching his opening acts Big Gipp, Khujo, and T-Mo.

311 with Cypress Hill and G.Love and Special Sauce
Seriously, we doubt there’s a band with more chill tunes than 311, so we couldn’t think of a better band to see live when we need to unwind. The group will be joined with Cypress Hill and G.Love and Special Sauce to supply our nights’ killer soundtrack.

Milo Greene
Let Milo Greene’s indie-pop ballads soothe you, as you watch the quintet act croon on stage at The Rickshaw Stop. But first, the gorgeous songstress of Wild Belle will liven things up with her reggae-pop hits. Our ears are all theirs.

Smith Westerns, Wampire, and Social Studies
Chicago-based indie band Smith Westerns will be gracing Brick and Mortar’s stage to play its lively, get-up-and-dance singles like "Weekend," "3am Spiritual," and "Idol," and we get to see them before Outside Landers! If that news, plus the tunes, aren’t enough to get you jumping up and down, we don’t know what will!

The Growlers with Handmouth and DJ Andy Cabic
Don’t let the the name scare you away, The Growlers won’t be on stage snarling in the mic. Instead, expect to hear rock-pop ballads that you’ll want to sway left and right to during the California Academy of Sciences’ Outside Lands Nightlife event. The Growlers will be sharing the stage with Handmouth and DJ Andy Cabic, so get ready for some eargasms.
