If you're a serious music fan, chances are you'll travel beyond the Chicago city limits for a badass festival. Let's see a show of hands for anyone who's been to Coachella, Bonnaroo, or any of the other big guys on campus. Well, as you start to noodle your festival schedule for next year, put aside a little extra cash and vacation time because Lollapalooza (our favorite musical jubilee) is expanding to Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2014.
According to billboardbiz, the venture is
"a partnership between Lolla founder Perry Farrell, festival co-owner William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, Austin-based promoter/producer C3 Presents, and Latin American promoter Fenix Entertainment Group."
We don't want to brag, but this will be the Chicago music festival's third addition, following in the footsteps of of Santiago, Chile, and São Paulo, Brazil. What can we say? People love Lolla.
Check out the nifty video announcing the good tidings and hang tight for further info. The date, venue, and lineup is still TBD, but you can keep an eye out for updates on the official web page.
