It’s easy to forget the beauty, quaint charm, and incredible culture that it also represents.

Make like a local and pedal along the canal (there’s a reason it’s known as the Venice of the North), marvel at the paintings of the Dutch masters, go to a gig at Trouw, and shop for tulips at the floating flower market. Then, by all means, head into The Grasshopper and do what you will. Just a warning: Dutch pancakes may look even more appealing than usual afterwards…
