One of the best parts of the Sundance Film Festival is, as we've said, everyone suffers the cold equally. Because of the temps and the lack of Hollywood-ready amenities, the tiny town of Park City turns into a wild playground for the film industry. Not only is everyone in a great mood because their movie premiered, but the scrappy spirit of independent film becomes contagious. Even big stars are reminded why they love the big screen. For two weeks, pretensions drop, hair and makeup aren't done professionally, and old friends hang out unfettered by Los Angeles. Which means, of course, reunions galore.
