It's been just six months since Paul Walker's death. In that time, Universal Studios confirmed that filming will continue for the seventh installment of the series that occupied most of Walker's career, Fast & Furious, despite the loss of its star. The studio also announced Walker's brothers — Cody and Caleb — would help "complete some remaining action for their brother and fill in small gaps left in production." In a recent interview with the Associated Press, Cody opened up about the feelings he's had since his brother's untimely passing, and offered some insight as to what drew Paul to the film franchise.

"Right now, not a whole lot of time has gone by yet," he said, and as such, it doesn't "feel real" just yet. Cody noted that, because Paul was often gone from the family for several months at a time, it hasn't totally sunk in that he's gone for good. "Sometimes, working in this industry, making films, he'd be away from his family three, four, six months at a time, and my only interaction was a phone call," Cody told the AP. "It's gonna take a few years before it even feels real."
He went on to mention that his brother lived "such a modest life" and often vocalized how he envied Cody's anonymity. "He would tell me how jealous of me I was," Cody said, speaking to how his late brother missed being able to do simple things, like going to see a movie sans paparazzi.
