Much has been made of Amber Heard and Johnny Depp's engagement, be it about their age difference or his decision to wear a man-gagement ring. But, we've actually heard very little from the bride-to-be. The actress, who prefers to keep a relatively low profile, hinted at her refreshingly laid-back approach to matrimony earlier this year during a promotional event for her film 3 Days To Kill: "I would always prefer to shoot the gun than, say, wear a wedding dress. It's far more interesting to me."
Now, in the latest issue of W, she opened up a little bit more about her relationship, even touching on her past coupledom with photographer Tasya van Ree. "I haven't noticed any chance in my career [since the engagement]," she told the mag. "And, for better or worse, I've always had a love life that seemed particularly salacious to some people. Before, it was also seen as unconventional."
Heard also addressed the sometimes wild nature of her fiancé — and, it seems that Depp has met his match. "Whenever my old friends meet someone I'm involved with romantically, they immediately warn them: 'She may look refined, but when she's angry, she can go trailer park really fast,'" she said. "But, I'd always rather be passionate than bland. I can't imagine living a quiet life." Something tells us her upcoming marriage will be anything but quiet. (W Magazine)
