A Year Later, Lea Michele Remembers Cory Monteith

Sunday marked the one-year anniversary of Cory Monteith's death. The actor was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room last July. Though many Glee cast members have honored him, all eyes turned to Lea Michele yesterday to see how she would choose to remember her late boyfriend. On the anniversary of his passing, Michele posted a picture of Monteith on Twitter and Instagram. "We hold you in our hearts today, and every day we remember your smile," she wrote. "We will love you and miss you always," her Twitter caption reads.

The memorial comes just days after a similar loss for the Glee cast. Matt Bendik, boyfriend of star Becca Tobin, was found dead in his Philadelphia hotel room on July 10. Fans can't help but notice the eerie similarity between the two untimely deaths.

A year later, Michele has begun to date again, having recently stepped out with her new boyfriend Matthew Paetz. Even though it appears she is moving on, it's clear she hasn't forgotten Monteith. (Us Weekly)
