Prince George Has Something Up His Sleeve In These Latest Pics

In his first official photo shoot since his birthday in July, Prince George shows he's definitely got Kate Middleton's bit of sass and classic style. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released three photos of their 16-month-old son on Saturday as a holiday gift to the public.
The pics were taken by a member of the royal staff on the steps of Kensington Palace in late November, and some speculate that it was sent out as a sort of thank-you to the press for showing restraint in photographing the third in line to the throne. Whatever the reason, his adoring public is grateful for this glimpse of the rosy-cheeked toddler — especially those of us disappointed that he stayed with his grandma while his parents visited NYC this week.
George's carefully parted hair, combined with buckled shoes, long socks, shorts, and sweater-vest make him seem like a royal kid transported from another era. But, his impish grin and total comfort in front of the camera say otherwise. He's still one of a generation of babies whose every move is captured on phones and cameras, even if we don't get to see those pics. (As much as he resembles Will and Kate, we can see Uncle Harry's irreverence might be rubbing off on him, too.)
Though the royal family didn't release info on who designed George's adorable outfit —which, no fair, the masses deserve royal guards on our sweaters too! — the press is already hot on the case. The Telegraph IDs the vest as a Cath Kidston, and has spotted similar polo shirts from Swedish designer Polarn O. Pyret, and shoes from Start-Rite. Gift idea for the little boys on your list?
