This June, WorldPride, an international LGBT celebration, will be held in New York City in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising. Recently, Newsweek reported that the month-long celebration is "expected to draw as many as 4 million people to the city" from all over the world. With so many visitors swarming New York City, if you're planning to attend the festivities, especially during WorldPride weekend at the end of June, lodging needs to be booked ASAP.
Ahead, we've gathered 13 Airbnb listings throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn that are still available for rent on Pride Weekend, Friday, June 28 through Sunday, June 30. Many of the Airbnbs are along the Pride March route and near the locations of the WorldPride Opening Ceremony and Closing Ceremony. Several of the spots are also within walking distance of important LGBT landmarks like the Stonewall Inn and the NYC AIDS Memorial. Take a look at the listings ahead and book one before those 4 million other WorldPride attendees snatch up the spot.
