You probably woke up this morning thinking it was just another Thursday. Maybe you'd jazz it up with a bagel or an extra shot in your latte, but other than that, there's no reason to get excited.

Today marks the 40th birthday of actress-singer-chef-model-designer-mom-guru, the one and only, Gwyneth Paltrow. That's right, even Paltrow has to get older — and she's probably doing it better than you. Every year that passes, GP only gets GOOPier, and we love her for it. We love her...and sometimes roll our eyes at her. While we have to give props to a gal who embraces her unorthodox lifestyle so wholeheartedly, spreading the gospel of GOOP wherever she goes, there are times we'd like to give her a reality check.
