Ah, the spa. In theory, it's a completely relaxing and pampering experience. That is, until you book the appointment, drive/trek there, disrobe in front of strangers, wait to be called for your appointment, receive a chemical cocktail of unknown salves and scrubs, down some herbal tea, and reclothe only to hit the road again, feeling slightly less relaxed and kind of greasy.
And, how many of us can relate to the pain of riding public transportation with a completely makeup-free, shiny, recently extracted and peeled face? No fun. So, while the spa is great, you also have to have the occasional at-home backup experience. These pretties are not only kind to skin and animals (cruelty-free and vegan), but they’re also budget-friendly enough (nothing’s over $26) to have on hand when you're in the mood for a little pampering in the privacy of your own home.
