Every corner of San Francisco was packed with celebrations this weekend, from Pride to the World’s Ugliest Dog Competition. But there was a slightly more adorable event you may have missed: The annual CorgiCon festival at Ocean Beach — which, yes, apparently is a real thing.
More than 400 Corgis and their owners gathered in the Sunset District to celebrate the squatty breed, and of course, everything about it was a prime photo-op. The best part, though? Aside from the fact that each Corgi sported an elaborate outfit for the occasion, event proceeds go toward local animal services Corgi Aid and Muttville Senior Dog Rescue.
We rounded up some pics from the meet-up that are certain to make your Monday more bearable. Click ahead for major cuteness.
