Ready, Set, Go! Sign Up For Cycle For Survival, Stat

We don't know about you, but we're starting the week with a little eater's (and drinker's) regret post-Super Bowl Sunday. The only remedy is to drink a lot of water, amp up the fruit and veggie intake, and try to squeeze in a little more exercise than usual. But if extra time to burn some calories is something you can't spare until the weekend, there is a way you can make up for it all in one sweaty swoop.
The fourth annual Cycle for Survival is taking place Saturday, February 9, at Equinox in the Loop. The national, indoor cycling event helps to raise money to fund cancer research — particularly rare varieties such as pancreatic, sarcoma, and ovarian cancers.

Here's how it works: Simply put together a team and register to ride for a four-hour shift, with a max of eight riders per bike. Or, if you're really ambitious, ride the entire thing on your own. Next, set a goal and start fundraising. As a thank-you for your good will, time, and devotion, you and your teammates will receive complimentary fitness classes (if you have the energy) and massages the same day. How's that for a workout you can really feel good about?

Session Times: 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m.

Register: At Cycle for Survival
