3 Perfect Outfits For 3 Fun Weekend Must-Do’s

We can't wait for the weekend to get here, but when it does, we run into the inevitable issues of where to go, and—maybe even more importantly—what to wear. If you can't deal, keep reading. Consider us your one-stop shop for solving both frustrating dilemmas. We mapped out three extra-awesome weekend activities, and styled the Perfect Outfit to wear to each. Whether you're in the mood for fine dining, a little live music, or a movie in a revamped vintage theater, we're guaranteeing a good time—in a great getup. All you'll need to do is find is a partner in crime (a date, perhaps?), and a little room in your social calendar. And stop stressing! Weekends are supposed to be fun (cue R. Kelly's "Ignition") and with our guidance, yours will be.

Chicago's cinema scene just got a makeover. Logan Theatre has reopened after a full renovation, and this vintage building has never looked better. Head to this Logan Square theater in a casual-cool outfit with a little bit of edge. A fun printed pant and open-toe bootie are no-fail pieces for spring, and you'll be comfortable, even if the movie is a long one. The best part about movies at this theater? The full bar. Sip a cocktail and relax at the movies. Not a bad way to spend the weekend, if you ask us.

Don't settle for the same old date night. Take your sweetie someplace new, in a new spring frock, of course. We've got our hearts set on trying Allium, a new fine-dining experience located in the Four Seasons Hotel (haaay). Delectable american fair awaits, and while you indulge, make sure you've got good company at your table, and a sweetly sexy outfit. Summer isn't quite here yet, so a chic blazer is a must.

Zara Sandal with Snake Skin Straps, $89.90, available at Zara; Dorothy Perkins Black Lightweight Blazer, $59, available at Dorothy Perkins; Topshop Fold Back Cuff, $28, available at Topshop; Oasis Floral Skater Dress, $75, available at Oasis.

If your week has been particularly trying, blow off some steam and take in a rock show at any of Chicago's live music landmarks. We love The Empty Bottle, The Metro, Lincoln Hall, and countless others, so you've got plenty of options. Your outfit should be comfortable and fun, but not sloppy, so make sure you keep things balanced with a fun printed short and slouchy top. A pendant necklace is a must this season.
Chalayan Sheer Button Back Blouse, $248, available at La Garconne; A Peace Treaty Busu Necklace, $205, available at Wasteland; See by Chloé Cutout Leather Ankle Boots, $365, available at Zappo's Couture; 3.1 Phillip Lim Leopard Jacquard Cotton Shorts, $368, available at Boutique 1.
