You may be too old for trick-or-treating, but you are never too old to pick out a pumpkin — even if it's from the grocery store versus a patch. After all, there are numerous things you can do with this superb squash, such as make a pie, carve it, and dip-dye it in glitter — yes, glitter.
Glitter-kins are super-popular this season, and with good reason. For starters, you don't have to worry about carving out those perfect triangular eyes. Second, nobody ever tells you how messy (read: slimy) the cleaning process really is. And, of course, there's always the possibility that you don't even like the taste of pumpkin, which kinda eliminates the whole cooking thing. But, because we actually get a warm and fuzzy feeling when we see that bright orange hue, we love this glitter, dip-dyed version from the blog P.S. Heart. It's 50% pumpkin, 50% glitter sensation, and 100% awesome.
You only need five things (bet you can guess what two of them are) to create this blinged-out pump. As for the process, it's basically glue, glitter, and wait! We couldn't think of a better lazy-gal project ourselves. But, there are a few tips and tricks you'll want to know to ensure your pumpkin puts that so-called "great" version to shame, so click here to read the entire DIY project on P.S. Heart. So, who's in the mood to get crafty?
