Halloween is that one time of the year we can dress up like something we're not (naughty witch included) and get away with it. But, come November 1, that costume gets shoved to the back of the closet, making it both a waste of space and money. With that in mind, we tapped stylist extraordinaire Mel Muoio to curate three costumes based on three very iconic faces: Yayoi Kusama, Daisy Buchanan, and Beyoncé — hello, girl power!
The best part? Muoio assembled these looks using clothing from some of your favorite stores — not a costume shop. So, whether you want to be a splashy artist, a '20s heartbreaker, or pop princess, you can wear these pieces all season long without looking like you're out of place. A sartorial bang for your buck? Now, that's what we call a real treat.

Beyoncé: The Queen of PopBeyoncé is known for her sex appeal, but you can tone it down after Halloween and still look street-style worthy.
The bedazzled booties make for a "booty-licious" costume, but match them with a plain pair of skinny jeans, and you’re ready to hit the town like Mrs. Carter. Swap out the bodysuit for a bulky sweater and those leggings will become your casual best friend this season. And, guess what? You can wear a bodysuit to the office. Just make sure to pair it with a blazer so someone doesn’t alert HR.

Yayoi Kusama: Splashy ArtistThis legendary artist (obsessed with polka dots) has inspired many — most notably, Marc Jacobs. So, anything goes when it comes to mixing-and-matching.
Add a touch of playfulness to a solid-colored dress by slipping on those fun tights. Try wearing the little polka-dot number with a jean vest, or wear as-is with a pair of riding boots. The killer flats speak for themselves, so simply slip them on with a pair of skinnies and a sweater, and you’re set for the remainder of the fall season. As for the wig, well, that can be fun to wear to brunch, too.
