You know you love Greek food in Chicago, but isn't it time you took that relationship to the next level? Expand your world of foodie knowledge to new levels (and continents), at Kouzina, a three-day tasting event celebrating the opening of the new National Hellenic Museum in Chicago. Check out the museum before it opens in November, and enjoy tons of food-focused fun, like a Chef Tasting, a Premium Dinner and a marketplace full of diverse products and demonstrations. But if you really want to know why we're going, its the chance to mingle (and eat!) with some of Chicago's favorite celeb chefs. We're talking about David Schneider (of Taxim, pictured), Amalea Tshilds (of Lula Cafe), Jimmy Bannos Jr. (hi), and Karyn Calabrese (of Karyn’s). There are more, but we'll leave you with some surprises. Tickets and details can be found at the museum's website. Look amazing (obvi) and get ready to move up the ranks in Chicago foodie status.
National Hellenic Museum, 333 South Halsted Street (just North of Van Buren Street).
