Crazy Sh*t New Yorkers Say: Haunted House Edition

"Really people? Really? You're supposed to be New Yorkers. Have some self respect please!"

So writes one angry Yelper. Let's be honest: Despite the fact that it is the time of year for ghosts and ghouls, there is almost nothing more frightening than an angry group of Gothamites who take to the internet. In fact, the only thing scarier is when they've been waiting in line...for hours.

When we started thinking about what we wanted to do with our pals during the spooky season, we headed to that ol' trusty guide, Yelp, to get the scoop on some of the city's most popular (but not necessarily most liked) haunted houses. Which is when we noticed: People write the craziest stuff. From hair pulling to butt touching, these NYC-ers share ridiculous stories and insights from their own haunted house experiences that are more LOL-worthy than frightening. But, then again, a whole lotta peeps, alcohol, costumes...plus a little adrenaline — that's New York at its most interesting, right?
