Starting May 29, LACMA is debuting a huge retrospective of Tim Burton’s work, so Edward Scissorhands fans, rejoice! The director will be on hand on Saturday, May 28 to sign books from noon to 2 p.m. to kick off the retrospective, and while that almost guarantees there will lines around the corner, that doesn’t mean you should stay away. The Burton show—which will include his works as a director of live-action and animated films, and as an artist, illustrator, photographer, and writer—will run through Halloween 2011, but if you’re looking to nab the hottest ticket over Memorial Day weekend, we highly recommend you check out this once-in-a-lifetime exhibit.
