We're well into April now, which means we can officially pull off our hats and hoods, and shake our hair out into the sunlight. But, our spring hair awakening is not just a matter of unveiling the same old 'dos that got us through winter. We want our hair to be as pretty and new as the season itself. This first DIY in our month-long series is all about cropped tops, but we'll be rolling out hair inspo throughout the month, featuring all different textures and lengths of tresses.
Think your short locks mean you can't do anything fun for spring? Think again. Short hair can be incredibly versatile — and, since there's less of it, it's easy to create that wow-factor in just a few moves.
We called in hairstylist Reagan Baker from NYC's Whittemore House Salon to show us some tricks for styling our pixies, and she did not disappoint. From ultra-texturized prettiness to a boho braid fit for a fairy princess, this DIY will help you get your pixie blooming in no time. The bonus, though? These looks actually do work on hair of all lengths.
