We were saddened when we heard that Annie Novotny of Chicago's Frei Designs was closing the doors to Workshop boutique in Pilsen. The tears dried fast, though, because we also heard that Novotny (and her amazing clothing line) was moving into interior-design wonderland Post 27. If you're as happy about this stylish union as we are, show it. On September 8, Frei Designs will debut a stunning new fall '11 collection at a welcome reception at Post 27. We can't wait to see what this new collaboration will lead to for Chicago fashion and design, and we're even more excited that we can kill two major shopping birds with one stone. We'll see you Thursday at 7 p.m. to welcome Frei Designs to Post 27 with open (and well-dressed) arms.
